I had been going to see Briana (owner) for about over a year or so ago. I had not had any issues, until the last appointment I had 2 weeks ago - I was so disappointed. I had been going to her for a blonde balayage. On my last appointment I had asked for a little more dimension, she suggested some low lights - she said they would be just two shades darker than what I had. Said there would still be plenty of be blonde. However my hair turned quite dark. Did not look like I had any blonde left. I expressed I did not like it, that I felt like all my blonde was gone. Her response to this was "Oh no did the girls leave the gloss on for too long, did they not time it" (no ownership taken). She then said "well I had a feeling you may not like it so I used semi-permanent color" (why am I paying SEMI permanent color, and why not disclose this information beforehand). I decided , okay I will give it a couple of days. I waited I believe 2-3 days and called and expressed I wasn't happy with my hair. They told me she would definitely call me back by five. She did not reach out to me, I waited another week before contacting her again. They gave me her cell number and I sent her pictures and a message, she responded apologizing for a late text and said "it can be fixed" I asked what my options were and it has been another week and I never heard from her. My hair has lighted up a bit but into a reddish brown. I feel like I deserved better customer service, given the money and time I had invested into my hair services. I felt like I was not taken seriously as their customer. I should not have been the one trying to reach them continuously. They made no effort. Extremely upset with their customer service and with the way my hair looks now.
Ive been coming back to Salon Rene time and time again over the past 7 years for Bryana specifically. She is the owner and while she is an extremely talented hair stylist, she is a teacher as well. I have gone looking for other stylists a little closer to home or what I would prefer to pay and every time I end up back in her chair asking for her help to fix me lol. She is always kind, helpful, does not voice any dissapproval for my getting hair done elsewhere and even if there is a mixup in the original appt, she makes sure I leave satisfied with my hair as soon as possible. If you have n’t found your forever stylist, I would give Bryana a call!
I have been coming here for almost a year and I love it. Everyone is so sweet and super knowledgeable. I change my hair color quite often and Whitney is always there with great advice and support. I appreciate how they will consult with each other when they aren't sure about the best way to color my hair. I feel my hair is in safe hands with them. The receptionists are super sweet too, very welcoming. The boutique has the cutest clothes, jewelry, and items in it, it is a great place to find unique gifts.
By far Brittany offers the BEST experience ever! From customer service over the phone to personal care in person; the treatment and friendly service I received was truly exceptional. Brittany does amazing work!! She really knows her way around the salon! She did an amazing cut and blonde highlights on my hair. I won’t go to anyone else. Not to mention the sweet boutique next door attached to the salon. They have the cutest selection of jewelry and clothing. Go see Brittany! She is a sweet soul who offers high quality hair care! She never disappoints!
